Connect the Alternate Phone Cord4

• Insert the brown wire into the brown

port

a. Use the screwdriver (contained in the kit) to

loosen the screw on the brown phone port

only enough to slip the tip of the brown

uControl wire into the slot.

b. Insert the brown wire tip into the slot.

c. Hold the wire in place and tighten the screw

firmly to secure the brown wire to the brown

port.

• Insert the gray wire into the gray port

a. Loosen the screw on the gray phone port

only enough to slip the tip of the gray

uControl wire into the slot.

b. Insert the gray wire tip into the slot.

c. Hold the wire in place and tighten the screw

firmly to secure the gray wire to the gray

port.

• Insert the green wire into the green

port

a. Loosen the screw on the green phone port

only enough to slip the tip of the green

uControl wire into the slot.

b. Insert the green wire tip into the slot.

c. Hold the wire in place and tighten the screw

firmly to secure the green wire to the green

port.

• Insert the red wire into the red port

a. Loosen the screw on the red phone port only

enough to slip the tip of the red uControl

wire into the slot.

b. Insert the red wire tip into the slot.

c. Hold the wire in place and tighten the screw

firmly to secure the red wire to the red port.

• Insert the plug into the uControl hub

a. Insert the plug on the gray uControl phone

cable into the gray ALARM PHONE port on

the uControl hub.
